This Privacy Policy explains what Dovi ("we", "us") collects when you use the app, why, and how we handle it. We aim to collect only what's needed to run your garden planner and to keep your personal data private.

Information we collect

• Account data: your email address and login credentials (passwords are hashed by our auth provider, never stored in plain text).
• Your garden data: the plots, beds, plantings, tasks, and harvests you create. This is your content; we store it to show it back to you.
• Usage data: basic technical information (device/browser) needed to operate the service and keep it secure.

How we use it

• To create and authenticate your account and send verification emails.
• To save and display your garden plans and records.
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
• To improve features and fix issues.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help run Dovi (such as hosting and email delivery) under appropriate safeguards, or where required by law.

Data retention

We keep your account and garden data for as long as your account is active. You can delete specific records in the app; contact us to request full account deletion.

Children's privacy

Dovi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Account creation requires that you be 13 or older. If you believe a minor under 13 has registered, contact us so we can remove the account.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including hashed passwords, authenticated sessions, and bot/abuse protections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

Your choices

• Update or delete your garden records anytime in the app.
• Request access to or deletion of your account data.
• Opt out of non-essential communications where offered.

Changes & contact
